"Tools & Data" provides an overview of useful digital instruments, especially for the domains of sharing knowledge, communication, collaboration and reflection.

GoogleMeet is a video conference tool and part of Google Workspace, for which BURG owns a Google Pro account. Google assures a DSGVO-compliant handling of data and user data. This includes transparency in data processing, storing data within the EU, deleting data that is no longer required and secure encryption of data to protect it from external access.

BURG Box
BURG set up its own cloud on the Rechenzentrum server at https://box.burg-halle.de. The data is regularly backed up. The support provided by the data centre in case of problems is limited, however. The memory space includes 5 GB, but can be extended on request from the data centre.
