Clayprinting Workshops
Mobile ceramic 3D printing workshops
Two mobile ceramic 3D printing workshops are available for the design and art departments. The printers are located in the Neuwerk and in the Unterburg. There they can be borrowed for study projects, workshops and course-specific offers.
The printers (model Delta WASP 2040 Clay) are integrated into mobile cabinets so that they can be transported to the appropriate work locations within the university. Other accessories include laptops and various tools to prepare one's own printing compound and to process the print individually.
The laptops are equipped with software to prepare the 3D files for printing.
The printing compound is not in stock. Depending on the project or workshop, the printable material must be organised independently. You are welcome to contact us for this.
In order to be able to work with the printers, you will receive a short introduction to the functioning of the printer and the production of the printing mass. In addition, we offer workshops in both departments during the semester in which you can familiarise yourself with the subject and gain important preliminary experience.
Use of the printers must be registered in advance by e-mail!
