Entwicklung einer experimentellen Vasenserie zur Nutzung an vertikalen Flächen.

'kaki' ist eine dekorative Gefäßserie für Blumen und Blüten. Gefertigt aus Porzellan und an der Wand befestigt, ersetzen sie Bilderrahmen durch lebendige Kompositionen zwischen Kunst und Design. Miki Lin arbeitete bereits während ihres Studiums in Japan an Präsentationslösungen für Pflanzen und hat ihre Arbeit durch den Einsatz verschiedener Techniken vertieft.

„Containers for plants 'kaki' are used indoors and made of porcelain. I had studied the theme 'containers for plants' since I was in Japan. This time, I continue with studying this theme with using different technique from previous one.
My works 'kaki' are not so functional product. They are between art object and product. The concept of these my works is 'Enjoy flowers or plants like pictures'. Flowers and Plants heal people and we can enjoy appreciating them. To put some flowers or plants is similar to put hang some pictures.“
