Aber wie nutzt man dieses Potenzial, wenn mehr als die Hälfte aller Menschen in Deutschland zur Miete wohnt und nicht die Möglichkeit hat, Solaranlagen auf ihrem Dach zu installieren? „Filou“ ist die erste Solarzellen-Serie, die explizit für Mietwohnungen gestaltet ist. Sie gibt MieterInnen die Möglichkeit ihre klima-politische Überzeugung zu manifestieren, die Energiewende mitzugestalten und dabei sogar noch Geld zu sparen. Sie vereint Statussymbol und wohnliches Ambiente mit durchdachten Anbringungsmöglichkeiten, die die Installation zum Kinderspiel werden lassen.

Roofs and façades in Germany bear the potential for the installation of solar energy systems capable of generating 1.4 GW, according to Fraunhofer ISE. But how do we use this potential, if more than 50 percent of the population in Germany lives in rented flats and does not have the possibility to install solar energy systems on their roofs? “Filou” is the first solar cell series designed particularly for tenants. It gives tenants the opportunity to manifest their climate position, to help shape the energy revolution and even to save money. It combines status symbol and a homelike ambience with thought out installation options that make the installation a no brainer.
