Personal perceptions, experiences, age, the zeitgeist and various cultural circles influence our relationship to forms, colours and materials. Everything we see and touch obtains its form thanks to material. We interpret materiality and formal quality through scientific mediation and practical treatment.
Sensibility develops by doing – by observing, feeling, smelling, and by trying out, comparing and combining. As far as the learning experience is concerned, this means working within the conflicting fields of exact examination and free fabrication, between conscious observation and the creative exploration of materials, forms, and processes.
